THORNTON GAP AND BUCK HOLLOW TRAIL 
Join us on this historic 12.1 mile two-day hike along portions of the Appalachian Trail!

We will meet at the Orange Line Metro Parking Lot – Vienna Fairfax GMU stop –  location in Fairfax, VA and drive for approximately 1 hour and 30 to 40 minutes to the trailhead from this location.

Our hike will take us down the historic Appalachian Trail where we will stop to enjoy the many breathtaking vistas along the way. At the end of the day, we will set up camp, relax, enjoy dinner while reflecting on the first day’s hike. We will spend the night in ultralight high-quality tents.

The next morning we will enjoy breakfast, break camp and begin the final 5 to 6 miles to end our hike.
