Note:  A.T. Adventures International highly recommends trip cancellation insurance for all programs. Due to the nature and heavy costs of government and operator permits, A.T. Adventures International must adhere to a stringent refund policy.  Specific program cancellation and refund policies may supersede those enumerated below.

  • Each deposit, regardless of amount, includes a $500.00 non-refundable registration fee.
  • All Program balances are due 120 days prior to departure date unless otherwise specified.
  • Full refunds, less registration fee, will be provided 120-days prior to departure date.
  • 50% refunds will be provided 90-119 days prior departure date.
  • No refunds will be provided 89-days prior to departure date.
  • Participants whose balances are not received by the 120-day deadline as stated above, risk forfeiture of their place on the program.
  • All refund requests must be made in writing and be received in our office within the 120-day period, as stated above.
  • NO REFUNDS will be provided for Mountaineering Adventures.

We highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance. See Travel Guard below for cancellation insurance.

Travel Guard provides coverage for trip cancellation as well as medical, rescue and evacuation insurance. Ask your Travel Guard representative for the plan that covers high altitude and mountaineering activities (involving a rope, crampons, and harness.) Depending on your state of residence, you may need to purchase an additional package to cover these activities.
